Who is hosting?
At Chanoud Garh, guest experiences and curations are managed by two brothers, Jairaj and Mahiraj, along with their sister and father. Their mother oversees the kitchen, ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience.
Jairaj, a former advertising professional, lived in Mumbai for many years before deciding to revive his ancestral home. Along with his brother and father, who is a civil engineer, they restored the crumbling fort to its former glory. It's a fascinating story to listen to as they proudly take guests on a restoration walk.

Swati, Mahiraj, Jairaj, and Anchal, the four siblings who run the property, have all left their corporate careers to return to their ancestral home and create the Chanoud Garh experience. Accommodation
Chanoud Garh boasts ten large and well-designed suites that have been meticulously renovated while preserving the essential features of Rajasthan. Each suite is unique and decorated with interesting objets d'art from the owners' private collection. They are air-conditioned and have twin or double beds, a tea-coffee station, and spacious ensuite bathrooms. Some suites even have private balconies, and all have immense lounge spaces.
One of the most interesting suites is the Bhurj suite, which is fashioned from one of the turrets, giving it a circular shape and a sense of mystery. Dining at Chanoud Garh is a special occasion, with menus passed down through generations and carefully prepared under the supervision of the women of the family. The variety of the menu and unique treatment of tried and tested dishes will surprise even the most seasoned traveler. There are several dining areas, including Moti Mahal, which is large and air-conditioned, and the Jenana Chowk for dinner. Guests can also dine al-fresco on the old terrace. Chanoud Garh, a small boutique hotel, is managed by a team consisting mainly of locals from nearby villages and towns. The family's personal mission is to preserve the fort and its architectural elements, while also keeping some traditions alive, such as the Holi festival which involves the local villagers. To gain a glimpse into rural life, guests can take curated walking tours of the surrounding village. For a better understanding of the semi-arid ecosystem, it is suggested to embark on a jeep safari to the salt pans.
